Let's paint the picture:

A 4.8 magnitude earthquake shook New Jersey on April 5, 2024. It was a spectacular thing to be woken up from, on my day off. As soon as it happened, I remember my house making all kinds of noises I had never heard before, banging coming from the air vents. Nothing was damaged on my property, from what I can tell. That experience, however, inspired me very heavily to immediately get to work on expressing my experience.

The bassline in this song, in particular, was very heavily influenced by the noises I had heard while the quake was taking place.
